“I want to be only a midfielder”
Due to the absence of Henry, and since the coach demanded it, Iniesta has played a certain number of games on the left, on Henry’s position, thus leaving his natural midfield position. He did a great job there, no doubt, but on a press conference, he said that he feels best in the midfield.
“I will play wherever the coach asks me to play. However, I must say that I feel best in the midfield, since it’s my natural position.”
Andres is a all-around, universal player that has shown us that he can play great both in the midfield, but on the left flank too. He did a great job replacing Henry, but now Henry is back, and Iniesta is back in the midfielder. And he’s doing an amazing job.
